CIMdata convinced by CONTACT's InSync Design System

The leading PLM consulting and market research company CIMdata evaluates CONTACT's InSync Design System in a recent commentary. As a component of the Elements platform, InSync offers comprehensive support to consistently realize modern interfaces and a high-quality user experience (UX).

Increasingly complex development processes require innovation platforms that offer a better overview and help even sporadic users to feel at home. The goal: to make data and process elements from various sources along the digital thread and in model-based systems engineering quickly accessible. In addition, the smartphone is becoming the benchmark for easy operation and impressive user experience for more and more users.

In 2019, analysts from CIMdata highlighted CONTACT Elements as an excellent example of an agile and future-proof PLM and IoT platform. With InSync, CONTACT now provides customers, partners and OEMs with templates and tools to develop their own applications and interfaces for desktop and mobile devices in an agile and consistent way.

The InSync Design System is part of the Elements platform and contains methods, tools and best practices for agile approaches. Using sticker sheets, a library of visual user interface components and other templates, UI developers create high-quality mockups in minutes to evaluate suggestions and alternatives with users or customers. CIMdata comments: "Supporting agile development is crucial, and this is another example of how CONTACT Software helps its customers to take advantage of the benefits".

InSync is available to customers and partners via CONTACT's portal. Companies can also easily experience CONTACT Elements and InSync themselves. In the first quarter of 2020 CONTACT will make cloud demonstrators available for free testing.
