Introduction: The practice-oriented application of systems engineering is a prerequisite for the successful development of smart products with multidisciplinary added value. The Quick Check introductory package analyzes the maturity level of your organization as part of a comprehensive inventory. The focus here is on the R&D processes as well as on the project and management culture of your company.

Extension: Together, we define a master plan for the further development of your R&D organization and introduce a suitable systems engineering methodology. In further extension packages, we support you in the introduction of the identified systems engineering procedures along the master plan.

Introduction: The initial Quick Check carries out a comprehensive inventory of your installation for cross-location cooperation in the areas of product management, R&D, project management and production. The Quick Check examines your infrastructure, hardware, software and business processes in terms of their degree of harmonization.

Extension: Together we define a master plan for sustainable, cross-location organizational and collaboration models as well as suitable IT systems and business processes. Introduction: The initial Quick Check evaluates the quality of your company's collaboration with partners, suppliers and customers. In the inventory, we consider the cooperation of areas such as R&D, industrial engineering, testing, prototype construction, purchasing and sales with their environment. Infrastructure, hardware, software and business processes are examined.

Extension: Together, we develop a master plan to optimize cooperation with partners, suppliers and customers. A ROI forecast also shows the potential in terms of cost reduction and process optimization. Further extension stages support the implementation of the measures along the Extended Enterprise master plan.

Digital Transition

Introduction: Consistent digitalization offers enormous opportunities. We evaluate the potential applications of our software portfolio for digital transition. The initial inventory using standard models such as TOGAF evaluates your IT architecture, data structures and inventory systems ("legacy check").

Extension: We work with you to develop a digitization strategy based on aspects such as system harmonization, replacement of legacy systems, interoperability and bimodal IT with regard to your individual IT strategy. Extension Package II: We define your data governance strategy, a master plan for the implementation of the strategies (single or both) and you receive a ROI forecast. PLM Next Generation

Introduction: The initial Quick Check focuses on the product development process, combined with the perspective of future-proof expansion of the existing PLM solution or - alternatively - the changed setup, for example within the framework of bimodal IT. The comprehensive PLM Next-Gen maturity assessment is based on the analysis of PLM/PEP processes, data and information structures, data consistency and data security in the existing system, and the potential for systems engineering.

Extension: Together with you, we develop an individual master plan for comprehensive PLM optimization including ROI prognosis. Extension Package II: We support you in the implementation of the developed measures from change management to IT implementation according to your needs.

Dr. Patrick Müller

Product Management & Consulting

Dr. Patrick Müller is a strategy and management consultant at CONTACT Software and establishes the development of new PLM methods in this function. He transfers components of the classical development methodology into PLM applications, embeds new development methods (MBSE, Universal Classification, etc.) and assembles new process patterns for today's manufacturing industries. Dr. Müller is also a team leader dedicated to engineering transformation. His team develops and tests new approaches in application-oriented research projects, technology and market studies and brings the approaches in consulting projects to the customer base. He studied mechanical engineering and is certified auditor for PLM Professional, accreditor for ZEvA and member of VDI technical committees (product development/mechatronics, IT).

Manager Corporate Development

Stefan Gregorzik is responsible for Corporate Development at CONTACT Software. Within the scope of strategy and management consulting, he focuses on the fields of digital transformation, process reengineering and software engineering. Gregorzik studied mechanical engineering and worked for various IT and consulting companies before joining CONTACT. With his experience in the automotive and process industry, mechanical engineering and plant construction, he accompanies projects in the fields of Business Intelligence, Ramp-Up, PEP and PLM. As Product Manager IoT, he also drives CONTACT solutions, which support customers in the implementation of digital business models.
