CONTACT Software starts in the Software Innovation Campus Paderborn

The Software Innovation Campus Paderborn (SICP) promotes cooperation between business and science under the motto "We are researching software innovations of the future" together with CONTACT Software.

This year, the SICP Symposium will take place for the first time. The motto of the event is "Software.Innovation.Cooperation". As a new member CONTACT Software actively contributes to the symposium program. Frank Patz-Brockmann, head of software development at CONTACT, explains in his lecture the importance of Open Source in the further development of the CONTACT Elements platform.

In the lectures and interactive workshops with scientists, companies and partners of the SICP it is among other things about the topics Smart Systems, Digital Business, Software Engineering, Cyber Physical Systems and Digital Security.

Together with numerous technology companies in the region, the University of Paderborn founded the SICP with the basic idea of expanding the close cooperation between business and science. This cooperation is an essential success factor for the transfer of research results into marketable innovations. "The SICP offers ideal conditions to identify new, innovative fields of application of our CONTACT Elements platform with strong partners and to jointly develop solutions", says Rolf Stübbe, management consultant at CONTACT and member of the SICP steering committee. "We are very pleased to be part of the SICP and to strengthen our Paderborn location".

The SICP Symposium will take place on June 18, 2019 at the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum in Paderborn. Participation is free of charge. Registration is still possible until June 17.
