CONTACT Software and PROSTEP cooperate on collaboration

In the course of digitization, companies are increasingly working with changing partners in development and service together. CONTACT Software and PROSTEP are now providing new collaboration solutions for such networks.

In development alliances, all participants face the challenge of efficiently coordinating their collaboration across various CAx and PLM systems. CONTACT Software and PROSTEP AG are therefore pooling their skills in the areas of IT, processes and methods in order to offer suitable solutions for different collaboration scenarios.

The portfolio of both companies complements each other perfectly: Based on its open Elements platform, CONTACT Software develops solutions for the product development process, the digital transformation and the Internet of Things (IoT). As a vendor-neutral consulting and software company, PROSTEP contributes its decades of experience and its standards-based solutions for the integration of PLM systems.

For example, Diebold Nixdorf, the world's largest manufacturer of banking and retail solutions, uses a CONTACT collaboration solution to provide PLM information from various systems for sales, service and development. Here, PROSTEP contributed its OpenPDM connectors as a project partner.
