CIM Database shortens delivery times

The medium-sized company is a global player with sales and service branches in 16 countries. A few years ago, teamtechnik made the decision to accelerate the development of its international business by establishing globally distributed development and production sites. To achieve this, the IT infrastructure, which consisted of a large number of non-integrated databases and applications, had to be completely renewed. Parallel to the ERP solution PSIpenta, CIM Database was implemented as a company-wide PLM backbone. The close integration of commercial ERP and creative PLM worlds has made it possible to shorten project and development times considerably and significantly accelerate business processes. Around 500 users worldwide work with the PLM solution at seven locations.
