Siempelkamp Maschinen- und Anlagenbau is a system supplier of press lines and complete plants for the wood-based materials, metal forming and rubber industries. The Siempelkamp Foundry, one of the world's largest hand-casting foundries, produces large castings up to 320 tons piece weight from cast iron with spheroidal graphite. Siempelkamp Engineering and Service supplies products and comprehensive services for nuclear facilities. In 2016, the group of companies achieved sales of 732.8 million euros and employed a workforce of 2,707 employees as of the reporting date of 31 December.
