Each year, the prostep ivip Symposium, a leading event for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and digital transformation, brings together experts from industry and research to address these pressing questions.
CONTACT Software will be a Premium Partner at the prostep ivip Symposium 2026, underscoring its role as an innovation leader. The event under the theme “The Next Frontier: Agentic AI and the Rise of Software-Defined Industry,” will take place April 14 – 15 at KAP Europa in Frankfurt. Together with STACKIT, the cloud offering from Schwarz Digits, and development partner AVL, CONTACT will present solutions that enable companies to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive growth, unlock the full potential of their data, and ensure digital sovereignty.
Under the title “Europe’s Industrial Moment: Why AI-Driven Platforms Outcompete Point Solutions,” CONTACT’s keynote will highlight the critical importance of sovereign infrastructures and AI-driven development for the success and strengthening of European innovation. At Booth 19 – 22, visitors can experience hands-on Engineering and Manufacturing Intelligence. Through an interactive demonstration featuring an innovative electric race car manufacturer, CONTACT and its partner STACKIT will showcase how the intelligent interplay of PLM and IoT, combined with CONTACT’s integrated AI infrastructure, Fourier AI, creates a seamless end-to-end system while ensuring digital sovereignty.
In several presentations, CONTACT will also provide deep insights into customer practices, ranging from AI-driven efficiency gains to comprehensive transparency throughout the product lifecycle. Together with WOCO, CONTACT will present a session titled “AI-driven Requirements Engineering for Product Development,” illustrating how AI-powered requirements engineering accelerates the automation of test case generation in the development process. The presentation “Multimodal 3D Similarity Search: A Perspective on Research, Product Development, and Practical Application” with Big Dutchman will showcase how multimodal 3D similarity search promotes the reuse of complex components.
Furthermore, CONTACT’s experts will deliver two technical presentations, demonstrating how factory planning and operations can be optimized through Digital Twins within Factory Life Cycle Management, and how the PLM-based Digital Product Passport ensures continuous transparency throughout the entire product lifecycle and supports sustainable decisions.
