CONTACT showcases integrated automotive engineering at WCX

At the automotive conference, CONTACT will present solutions to create an AI-supported digital backbone for engineering, configuration, and simulation. The company leverages local partnerships, including with US-based consultancy and implementation specialist Razorleaf, to optimally support automotive customers in North America.

The transition to the software-defined vehicle marks a fundamental shift for automotive companies. To master it, they must deeply integrate all processes along the product lifecycle – from engineering, simulation, and configuration to manufacturing and services. At the World Congress Experience (WCX) from April 14-16, 2026 in Detroit, CONTACT Software will demonstrate how this can be achieved in a unified, AI-supported ecosystem.

At booth 349, experts from CONTACT and Razorleaf will showcase how the modular CONTACT Elements platform connects PLM, project management, and IIoT functionality for end-to-end processes. It consolidates data in a single source of truth, making it easily accessible in every lifecycle stage. The platform’s new intelligence layer, Fourier AI, provides AI capabilities throughout the system. It accelerates processes using both market-leading AI models and domain-specific models developed by CONTACT, for example, to identify similar 3D geometries.

The solutions of CONTACT subsidiary and simulation specialist CAIQ further expand the company’s offering for automotive customers. The Simulation Process & Data Management (SPDM) enables companies to seamlessly integrate simulation into the product development process, accelerating development phases and reducing costs while ensuring high quality. Customers such as Audi and Porsche are already using services from this portfolio today.

CONTACT is strategically expanding its presence in North America, building a strong local ecosystem to support customers across the USA and Canada on their digitalization journey. This approach combines CONTACT’s technology leadership with deep regional expertise to ensure successful implementation and sustainable, measurable results. As part of this commitment, CONTACT works closely with its trusted partner Razorleaf, whose experts will be present at WCX to share practical insights into the implementation and deployment of CONTACT Elements.
