CONTACT becomes a Core Member of Innovation Park AI (IPAI)
As a new member of the IPAI innovation platform in Heilbronn, Germany, CONTACT Software is actively shaping the widespread adoption of AI technologies made in Europe.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a key technology of the future and is already having a significant impact on our society and economy today. A responsible use based on European values and digital sovereignty is essential in order to take a leading role in AI value creation. This is precisely where the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) in Heilbronn comes in. As an AI innovation platform, IPAI brings together the expertise of leading AI experts and numerous stakeholders from business, science, the public sector, and startups to drive the ethical and sustainable deployment of AI.

CONTACT Software invested in AI early on and provides CONTACT Fourier AI, a holistic architecture that embeds AI in every phase of the product lifecycle. “IPAI stands for sustainability, digital responsibility, and European sovereignty – just like CONTACT. We believe a European center for AI is developing here, and we want to actively contribute to setting and embracing new impulses,” says Udo Göbel, Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at CONTACT Software.
This membership allows CONTACT not only to contribute to the development of ethical and sustainable AI standards but also to benefit from the intensive exchange within the network, best-practice approaches, and customized educational programs. This significantly helps the software provider understand the requirements of companies from various industries at an early stage and integrate them strategically into its AI solutions.
IPAI has been headquartered in the IPAI Spaces in Heilbronn‘s Zukunftspark since 2024. This location offers space for IPAI’s programs, the community, and the “IPAI Living Room” visitor center. The groundbreaking ceremony for the IPAI Campus in Heilbronn took place in October 2025, attended by various representatives from politics and business. Real-world labs, data centers, office spaces, and much more are planned to be built there.
