CONTACT E-Learning: new formats for faster learning success

Many customers have global branches and more and more of them are qualifying their employees via our e-learning program. Now, our training team has redesigned the online courses and added new formats to make self-paced learning around the CONTACT Elements applications even more attractive.

In 2020, we launched a new e-learning platform based on HTML 5. It enables companies to offer individual training courses that are tailored to their processes and are available worldwide. In doing so, thousands of employees can get to know our specialist applications regardless of time and place and deepen their knowledge at any time.

"Our goal is that users work well and readily with our software," says Patrick Staffhorst, who heads CONTACT's training department. "We want to impart the necessary skills in such a way that the courses are fun and learning success is achieved quickly."

With CONTACT E-Learning, everyone has the choice how to use the offerings. In addition to the classic training materials, there are various interactive formats that our training team has now supplemented. We briefly present the added features here.

Explanatory videos with exercises

In the new learning videos for CIM Database PLM, Elements for IoT and Project Office (in progress), a trainer explains all course content in a traceable and easy-to-understand manner. Compared to the other e-learnings, the design is much more appealing, easier to understand and to navigate through. If you want, you can complete the entire course just by watching the videos. There are exercises for each content, and the solutions to the tasks are also in a handy video format.

Certificates and Badges

With the mid-term tests, all can check their knowledge and repeat the material if necessary. After the final test, everyone receives an official certificate.  This is generated automatically and contains the name of the participant and course, the trainer's signature, and the registration and completion dates. Once an e-learning unit has been successfully completed, users also receive a badge that then appears on their profile.

Customers and partners can find a video in our Aloha portal which gives an insight into all novelties. By the way: Those who prefer to use the classic training materials can still download step-by-step instructions with screenshots.
