After a proof of concept, SIG decided in favor of CONTACT and its partner SolidLine. In addition to the primary selection criteria, CIM Database PLM convinced by the fact that the software can be easily and comprehensively customized. CONTACT automated CAD data migration via workflow, including references between 3D models and drawings. Today, the system controls the global PLM processes.
