Kiekert relies on CONTACT Software for project management
The global market leader for intelligent automotive security locking systems has been using CIM Database PLM’s integrated project management at all its locations worldwide since June 2023.
Kiekert AG has replaced its SharePoint-based project management with CIM Database PLM. The decision stems from an initiative launched three years ago to enhance global process excellence and shorten development times. To achieve this, Kiekert introduced CIM Database as its global PLM platform in 2020, reduced its overall number of IT systems, and developed in close collaboration with CONTACT Software new PLM applications such as a material database.
The Tier 1 automotive supplier will soon roll out CIM Database's material database and simulation data management applications across the company. The automation of global engineering change management will also be on the PLM agenda for 2024. This way, Kiekert ensures that the company’s project and development teams are comprehensively supported in their challenging tasks.
