Digitization makes global service faster

HBC-radiomatic is the technology leader in industrial radio controls. The devices enable efficient, safe and convenient operation of excavators, concrete pumps, lifting and loading cranes, heavy-duty transporters and many other machines in numerous industries.

Since August 2020, the company has been organizing its worldwide customer service via an online portal that is also used by HBC's global service and sales partners. The solution, implemented with CONTACT’s Elements platform in just half a year, ensures that the digital twin of a device and all required documentation are always up to date. This article describes how the application came about and why it significantly speeds up  service processes in interaction with CIM Database PLM and the ERP system.
