When selecting a suitable software solution, the open CONTACT Elements platform convinced not only with its functional performance, but also with its high flexibility to easily expand applications as needed. “In addition to the actual functional performance, a fast adaptability of the platform represented one of the essential decision criteria for us. With the use of CIM Database PLM and the fully integrated project management modules, thyssenkrupp Springs & Stabilizers will accelerate the process landscape in the future and improve collaboration in the globally distributed development projects. The ambitious schedule provides for the agile introduction of CONTACT Elements at the German sites by the end of 2021. The global rollout is planned for mid-2022. After the final expansion stage, a total of around 450 users will use CONTACT's PLM software for their daily work at the locations in Europe, Mexico, Brazil and China.
