Diebold Nixdorf develops state-of-the-art ATMs, POS systems and IT services for banks and retail companies. The group, which operates in 130 countries, was formed in 2016 as merger of American Diebold and German Wincor Nixdorf. Diebold Nixdorf now connects both PLM worlds on both sides of the atlantic. For this project, the group uses the Collaboration Hub from CONTACT and the open technology platform CONTACT Elements.
Intelligent workflows automate the exchange of data between PLM systems, drastically reducing the time required to provide compliant PLM information. In addition, the solution offers the advantage that the departments can initiate the distribution directly from their familiar PLM environment and react quickly to the requirements of the other locations.
“By linking our PLM systems, sales, service and, in future, development can act even more efficient on a global scale”, says Ralph Volbert, Senior director CF IT ItM (Ideas to Market) at Diebold Nixdorf
The partner in this project is Prostep AG. In a further phase, the use of the Collaboration Hub is also planned for suppliers.
